      This is the perfect gift for older parents, and other senior relatives. I used to purchase several of the dried fruit platters from the Harry & David local store every year as gifts for older relatives for the Holidays. The Harry & David store in my area is now closed so I was a bit hesitant to order online. The product arrived and it was perfect, my parents are really enjoying it. Additional benefit of a dried fruit platter is a longer shelf life, which is ideal for seniors. Thank you!

              This is the best dried fruit I have ever tasted -- there is an amazing variety, including some I have never seen elsewhere, like dried peaches and pears. There are several different types of apricots, ranging from sweet to tart. All the fruit is delicious and tender, not hard and leathery, and the fruit is arranged beautifully as well. This is a gift everybody would welcome, and get one for yourself as well!

                  A:

                  That's a great question! The entire tray is shrink-wrapped to protect it from outside contaminants during transit. We designed the packaging so that you can simply remove the shrink-wrap and place the tray on a table of counter, and it's ready to serve!
