I did not know what gift I should give to family members for Christmas and decided to place an order on the Harry & David web site as last resort. I never planned to write a review about this...

Then today, I received a thank you note from my sister in law. Let me quote what she said about the gift ".... a huge beautiful Harry & David box..."; "the big boys and little ones too loved checking out all the little boxes wrapped so neatly!"; "The pears were out of this world" "Perfect gift!". I ordered the gift on 21st and it was delivered on Christmas eve morning. Perfect timing! I am so glad that I made the right decision!

I don't know how you do it, but EVERYTIME (which is frequently) I include pears in my gift or am given a gift with Royal Riviera Pears, THEY ARE PERFECT! I'm not talking GOOD or EXCELLENT, I'm talking PERFECT! Everything you ship is of excellent quality, but the pears are outstanding.

I have a FABULOUS recipe for pear pie and the Royal Rivieras are the very best for that recipe.

My Mother - who's in her nineties - requested this box of treats for Christmas. My sister and I decided to buy it early so that she could enjoy it for the whole holiday season. What a great way to remind her that we love her on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day and every day in between.

I only have one thing, make sure, you check the right box, when checking the delivery date.

I thought, I'd checked the 2/3 day box and when my gift had not arrived a week later, found. I'd check the wrong box.

Perhaps, it's best to talk to a customer service agent..to assure the order is just as you like it.
